Supply Honda of the UK Manufacturing 30.7.2006
EMS (European) closed an order in July 2006 to supply EnviroStart motor energy controls into the Swindon Manufacturing facility of Honda Cars UK. The units are primarily focussed into the ventilation systems of the paint shop providing savings of over 15%. Honda, as a large global consumer, are focussed on energy conservation and carbon emission reductions in keeping with their policy of environmental friendliness and working with, rather than against, the environment. EMS (European) are pleased to be a part of the initiatives that Honda are taking in this matter. |
Directives have been sent to all UK Manufacturing Department Heads from Honda Senior Management indicating that in response to expected electrcity cost increases in excess of 20% though the course of 2006/2007 they should all look at ways of reducing consumption.
